Organizers for the Wedgwood Art Festival sent us the following notice:
The 6th annual Wedgwood Art Festival has expanded into a 2 day extravaganza of art, music, community fun and will be happening this year on July 9th & 10th. Thanks to community support the neighborhood has shown for the last 5 years, the festival continues to grow and become a highly anticipated summer event. Many opportunities are available to become a part of this fun-filled weekend.
A variety of volunteer positions are available beginning prior to the festival for poster/flier distribution; Friday, July 8th during setup; and during the event on Saturday & Sunday. Volunteer opportunities include: Poster/Flier Distribution, Children’s Craft Booths, Band Loading/Setup, Photographer, Field Setup & Maintenance, Booth Setup/Take Down, Parking Attendant, and more.
If you are an artist interested in having a booth, please submit your application by April 4th. Applications can be found on the Wedgwood Art Festival website. We are accepting artists in all media. All artwork must be original and created by the artist. Overnight security will be provided on Friday and Saturday nights.
We are seeking community partners to help sponsor this event. This is a unique promotional and public relations opportunity to show support of art and community events Northeast Seattle. Sponsorship packages offer a variety of marketing benefits to involve your company in fostering goodwill in our community.
