Seattle Police say a second bank on 35th Avenue Northeast in Wedgwood has been robbed, apparently by the same man.

The most recent robbery occurred Tuesday afternoon at Homestreet Bank, in the 8200 block of 35th Avenue. In a press release, police said the man, armed with a black semi-automatic handgun, walked into the bank about 4:30 p.m. Oct. 2 and demanded money from the teller.

The suspect received an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the bank on foot, last seen headed eastbound on Northeast 82nd Street. North Precinct patrol officers and detectives responded to the location. The suspect is still outstanding. This suspect is believed to be the same suspect that robbed a Key Bank on the same street on September 7th.

The suspect is described as follows: White male, approximately 6? tall, medium build, between 30-40 years old, wearing a baseball cap, brown hair, facial hair, and blue eyes. If anyone has any information on this suspect, please call 911.
