Support the Green Lake Play Series!

June 29th, 2014 · No Comments

Green Lake Park is at the center of day-to-day life in the city. It is a venue for arts, exercise, and recreation, and is representative of the core of the city’s consciousness and identity. To help share its importance, a team composed of writers, directors, and actors, whom are active members of the Seattle theatre community, have come together to capture what this park means to them. Help them bring 8 brand-new original plays to life by supporting them as they raise money for the space and the staff at the Bathhouse at Green Lake, their marketing and production supplies, and concessions for the performance.

The eight original plays that make up the Green Lake Play Series were written by current and former Seattle residents:

  • Kevin Bordi
  • Rebecca A. Demarest
  • Emily Golden
  • Melanie Hampton
  • Courtney A. Kessler
  • Jerry Kraft
  • J.D. Panzer
  • J. Michael Tumblin

With direction by Nathan Jeffrey and J Michael Tumblin, our cast features ten* wonderfully talented actors that have graced many a local stage, including Taproot Theatre, Seattle Shakespeare Company, Book-It Repertory, Seattle Public Theatre, Wooden O, and GreenStage:

  • Ryan Childers
  • Tom Dewey
  • Jake Gordon
  • Olivia Hartshorn
  • Bill Johns
  • Caitlin Macy-Beckwith
  • Tess Sevetson
  • Olivia Sterne
  • Jenny Vaughn

*The tenth cast member will be announced soon!
