Join family and friends for the annual Salmon Bake at Laurelhurst Park (4544 NE 41st St) from 5:30-8 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 11.

Local businesses, Laurelhurst Community Center, Lifelong Recreation and Specialized Programs have partnered to make this another fun event.

The menu includes grilled wild salmon, corn on the cob, watermelon, tangy coleslaw, fresh rolls and chocolate brownies. Adult salmon dinner tickets are $15. Children (12 and younger) salmon dinner tickets are $10. Hot dog or garden burger dinner tickets are $5. Tickets can be purchased at the event with cash, check or credit card, and the sales benefit Seattle Parks programming.

Co-sponsors include MaxWell Meals, Metropolitan Market, Era Living, Kwanchai, Le Cordon Bleu, the Laurelhurst Advisory Council, the Lifelong Recreation and Special Populations Advisory Councils and the Associated Recreation Council.

In addition to delicious food, the Larry Jones Trio will be there, as well as a kids’ carnival.
