At the Spooner Farms fruit stand in Wedgwood, customers are greeted with a warm smile and the vibrant colors of fresh berries.

Located near the corner of 35th Avenue Northeast and Northeast 80th Street, the stand is open seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., depending on the weather and the amount of berries left for the day.

Throughout the summer, Spooner Farms sells strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, marionberries and blueberries. This is the last week the strawberries will be sold, probably ending on July 17 or 18, said Shellie VanWormer, who works at the stand.
