It’s National Doughnut Day and our local doughnut shop, Top Pot (6855 35th Ave NE), is celebrating in a big way. There will be “tons of fun giveaways” all day and from 6 a.m. to noon they will be collecting non-perishable food items for Northwest Harvest.
Here’s a little fun fact from our friends at Top Pot – National Doughnut Day was started back in 1938 to honor the women who served doughnuts to soldiers during World War I.
