Wedgwood and View Ridge already have a great library, the Northeast Branch, which is the largest neighborhood branch and second busiest in the Seattle Public Library system.
But what ideas do you have to make it — and the rest of the system — better?
Voice your opinions tomorrow night (March 2) at the Northgate Library 6-8 p.m. as part of a series of “citywide conversations,” which SPL is using to plots its strategic future.
Attendees are being asked to “think big” and use their creativity” in considering new models, services and new roles for the library.
The library system is staying on the move. This effort comes immediately on the heels of the just-completed 10-year, $300 million project in which 26 branches were renovated or built, including the world-renowned Central Library.
Speaking of our Northeast Branch, upcoming events include help with taxes, ongoing story times and more. For details, check out their event listings.
