Summer is winding down and it’s time to start planning those final special family events. Here’s one to get on your calendar:

Friday, Aug. 27, an outdoor moving night at Burke Gilman Park (next door to Metropolitan Market) to benefit the Seattle Ronald McDonald House.

The festivities begin at 7pm and will feature the 8:30pm screening of “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs.” Ronald McDonald staff members say to come early for snacks and other entertainment.

Suggested donation is $5 per person to benefit the Ronald McDonald House (which, yes, is next door to the park).
