Disturbing news today from our partner site, the Seattle Times, which is reporting that an 18-year-old student at Roosevelt High School has been charged with raping a developmentally disabled girl at the school. The boy, Jose Reyes, a junior, is a Level II sex offender who has previously been convicted of indecent liberties with force

The names of the artists for this year’s Wedgwood Art Festival have just been announced. Almost two dozen artists will show off jewelry, paintings, woodwork, pottery, and glass. You can see the complete list here. The festival takes place Saturday, July 17 at the Hunter Farms Tree Lot near the Wedgwood Presbyterian Church.
